half
hours.
A dual 60fps system with LED lights
for two hours.
A single 150fps camera with LED light for
45 minutes.
The
larger battery will operate:

A dual 150fps system with LED lights
for two hours.
|
|
Cameras in
Watertight / Dustproof housing.
Both the 150fps and 60fps cameras are available in a watertight housing.
Both allow the LED light to be attached to the top of the housing and
are
powered from the Ethernet cable.
Watertight connectors are used at the back of the the camera housing. |
|
Stack Light
Trigger (SLT).
The Stack Light
Trigger is a wireless, battery driven trigger unit.
The receiver is connected to any USB port on the laptop and the
transmitter is attached to the stack light
of a
machine to detect
when the red (stop) light turns on. When
the red light
is detected,
a trigger is sent to the FlashBack system
which causes
an event to
be recorded.
The battery
operated transmitter has a life of 160 continuous hours.
When disconnected
from the flashback system, the transmitter shuts
down to preserve the battery. Under normal use,
the
battery will
last for a year or more. |
|
Flixible
Trigger Unit (FTU).
The Stack Light
Trigger can also be
used to monitor a dry contact
closure or a plus 24v contact closure such as a
proximity
switch
or optical detector.
When purchased for use with contact closure, the FTU is supplied
with two cables which are connected to sockets on
the front
of
the unit for either of the two contact closure methods.
The range of the SLT/FTU is 300 ft, but it may be reduced in
areas
of high electrical interference. |

Zoom, Focus and Iris Lens attached to a 150fps
camera used by Flashback.
The lens is only supplied in the watertight housing.
When attached to the FlashBack system, the Zoom, Focus and Iris settings
can all be controlled from the Camera
controls tab of
the FlashBack system. |

Led lights.
The LED lights currently use different methods of mounting for
the
the two cameras
in use.
The 60fps lihght slides into the V-shaped top of the camera wheras a
quick-release
mechanism is added to the 150fps camera to
attach the
LED light.
The LED light unit itself is the same for both systems.
From Left to right:

|
Manual Zoom,
Focus and Iris Lens.
Currently offerred for use with the Flashback system is 5-55mm
or
a 5-100mm
manual zoom lens.
Each lens accepts a 2X magnifier which converts the lenses to a
10-110mm and a
0-200mm respectively. This allows the camera to be placed
further from the
subject, and still achieve the same image viewing size. |
|
System
Roll-around bag.
The roll-around bag
unit shown contains a full FlashBack system.
Everything needed is included in the bag:
Laptop, Camera, LED light, Security Dongle,
Honeywell
remote Trigger unit, Tripod,
Universal clamp, Ethernet cable, AC
power supply for
the POE to the camera and
battery charger for the laptop.
Two sizes are used. One for the sigle camera FlashBack system and a
lrger version for
the dual camera Flashback system
The smaller of the two weighs only 23lbs when filled with the basic
FlashBack system
as listed above. It will fit into the aircraft
overhead
storage bins in all but the small
commuter aircraft. |
|
FlashBack
System Hard-shell Shipping Case.
As an option, a shipping case is offered, which allows a unit to be
shared between multiple
plants.
The roll-around bag is fitted inside the padded hard-shell case and can
be safely be shipped
to another location without fear of damage to the
camera, lens or laptop.
The case has built-In wheels and telescopic handle.
It is made from ultra-high strength polypropylene copolymer resin.and
is waterproof. |
|
FlashBack
System Hard-shell Shipping Case (Open).
The roll-around bag fits easily inside the padded hard-shell
case.
The single camera system bag shown here is supplied with additional
foam padding which
absorbs the space needed for the larger dual camera
system bag. |
|
Magic Arm
Clamp.
The Magic Arm is a fully
articulated arm with 90° pivotable and 360°
rotatable ends and
an elbow that rotates 360°. The single lever
tightens and locks for precise positioning.
The attached Super
Clamp can be
attached to just
about
anything. A wedge is
supplied,
that when fitted inside the jaw of the clamp
provides a sure grip on flat surfaces.
With the wedge removed the clamp can be securely mounted on a
tube from .5" to 2.1". |

Clamp.
with Camera attached.
A Camera or LED light is easily attached to the Camera
Bracket Locking Lever.
The image shows the magic arm supporting a motorized lens
attached to the 150fps Camera. |
|
Tripod.
A basic Tripod with each FlashBack system.
The tripod has a 3-way pan/tilt head, quick release mount, 3-section
retractable legs, center
leg braces, flip lever leg locks and a geared
center column. |
|
Panivise Super
Clamp.
The world's most versatile camera mount.
Overall mount length is 6".
Both adjusting points have a full range of motion: 210° Tilt,
360° Turn and 360° Rotation
1/4-20 mounting stud with lockring.
Attached to the mount is a Super Clamp a tool that clamps to
just about
anything.
The clamp can be securely mounted on a
tube from .5" to 2.1" and is supplied with a
wedge insert to provide a more sure grip on flat surfaces
by inserting the wedge inside
the jaw of the clamp.
|
|
Security
Dongle.
In order to operate, Flashback requires a Security Dongle be inserted into
one of the
USB sockets of the laptop.
The dongle not only supplies the software license for the system, but
also determines
how many cameras can be used with the system. |
|
Camera Cable.
The only cable between the laptop and the camera is a standard CAT5
Ethernet cable.
Using POE technology (Power Over Ethernet), power to both the camera
and the LED
light is supplied using only the Ethernet cable.
Should the cable be damaged, a replacement can be easily purchased from
any store
that sells electronic equipment. |
|
International
Power Connections.
Whenever a FlashBack system is supplied to a country outside
of the USA, FlashBack
is delivered with a power cordas used in that country.
The power supplies operate on both the 110V and 220V systems.
Shown here are three sample power plugs for Great Britain,
Australia and Europe. |
|
3-outlet Tap.
Pictured here is the standard 3-outlet tap supplied with each FlashBack. |
